Eureka Girls Brought A Tornado With Them to Win the Circle Invitational

The Eureka Mascot is the Tornados, so the Girls Wrestling team thought they might as well live up to their mascots reputation with tearing up the mats at the Circle Invitational with bringing their own version of what a tornado actually does when it hits a town. In doing so, four lady tornados led the disaster onslaught by crowning champions with Laikyn Turner @ 138, Lyndsey Escareno @ 143, Skylee Dodd @ 155 and Makyla Gore @ 170 along with placing two other teammates in the top four.

Collectively, Eureka scored 141 teams point to easily walk away with the team title by over 40 points.
Smoky Valley with finishing second in the team race with scoring 97 team points, never crowned a champion, but had six placers in the top four to cap off a fairly successful tournament run.

The Bluestem Lady Lions was the only other team in the field that ended up with multiple champions when Payton Burton @ 109 and Cadence Williamson @ 120 took advantage of the opportunity with having their arm raised in victory.

The tournament field from here on out, was fairly spread out and well represented with champions from various schools. They included Hannah Giles of Nickerson @ 101, Jill High of Augusta @ 126, Zara Thomas of Flint Hills @ 132, Emilie Schweizer of Buhler @ 191, and Nakeitta Macis of Chaparral @ 235.
