[Men's Wrestling] Wrestling earns 29-15 dual win over Northwest Kansas Tech

GOODLAND – The Raven Wrestling team traveled to Western Kansas on Wednesday night for their second dual of the semester and returned with a 25-19 win over Northwest Kansas Technical College.

Of the contested matches, the Ravens earned a win by fall, a major decision and a decision to earn the win over the Mustangs.

Kyle Smart earned the win by fall at 141 pounds, Harsh Anchan picked up a 13-4 major decision at 149 pounds and Elijah White sealed the win for the Ravens with a 3-2 decision at 197 pounds.

“Elijah had a really exciting match that locked the win for us,” said head coach Marcus Cobbs. “Awesome to see him step up for the team. It was also great seeing our young guys bump up and not only handle business, but also score bonus points that helped us pull away.”

David Boucher earned a win by forfeit at 125 pounds and Fredrick Hull earned a win by forfeit at 133 pounds.

The Ravens continue on the road Saturday as they travel to Lindsborg to compete in the Swedes Open hosted by Bethany College.
