CONCORDIA, Kan. – The Cloud County Community College Athletic Department has released its spring 2021 home athletic event attendance and ticketing policies ahead of CCCC’s first home event where fans will be allowed on Monday, February 8th, 2021.

The change comes amidst the recent vote that was conducted by the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference Presidents on February 1st which now allows for 25 percent of fan capacity for home events as long as schools are able to stay within local health department guidelines. The policy change will go into effect on Saturday, February 6th, and last through at least March 1st, at which time the KJCCC Presidents are scheduled to meet again to discuss further changes to the fan attendance policy.

Cloud County’s first official home event with fans in attendance will be Monday, February 8th when the volleyball team is host to Hesston College. The wrestling team will host their first event with fans on Tuesday, February 9th in a dual with Cowley. The final Cloud County indoor athletic team to play an event with fans in attendance will be the women’s and men’s basketball teams when the T-Birds host Pratt on February 10th.

In accordance with the 25 percent capacity and social distancing measures in effect, Cloud County will officially be able to welcome 132 total fans into Arley Bryant Gymnasium for each home contest. To help ensure compliance with the policies and measures in effect, the Cloud County Community College athletic department has partnered with HomeTown Ticketing for the sale of tickets to all indoor home events this spring as no walk-up tickets will be available this year. The partnership will allow for a convenient, touchless, and secure online ticketing option for home events and a one-stop location for tickets to CCCC home athletic events by going to www.cloudtbirds.com/tickets.

No outside food or drink will be allowed, nor will concessions will not be offered in accordance with the KJCCC policy that was recently approved, and fans will be required to wear a face-covering at all times while inside Arley Bryant Gymnasium (face mask or neck gaiter). Doors for all events will open 60 minutes prior to the start of the first contest scheduled for that day, and all fans will be required to be temperature screened and enter the building through entrance two (by the flag pole). Tickets will be good for one entry into the gymnasium, and fans will be required to enter the gymnasium from the top of the stands (fans will not be allowed onto the gymnasium floor at any time. Fans will also be required to be seated inside Arley Bryant Gymnasium while attending a Cloud County home athletic event, with no one being allowed to view the contest from the railing of the gymnasium.

If any tickets remain available on the day of the game, the remaining tickets will be made available to the general public to purchase beginning two hours prior to the start of the contest at a cost of $5 per ticket (plus applicable fees collected by HomeTown ticketing which are estimated to be $1.49 per ticket).

Student tickets can be obtained beginning 30 minutes prior to the contest at the door by showing a current CCCC student ID and will grant students a seat in the CCCC “student” section which will be located in the northeast corner of Arley Bryant Gymnasium across the court from the visiting team bench. All remaining seating will be general admission for all ticketed fans for the event.

For remaining home wrestling contests, tickets will go on sale to current booster club members and parents of student-athletes at 8 AM on the Friday prior to the contest. CCCC faculty and staff will then be given the opportunity to acquire a ticket beginning at 5:01 PM on the Friday prior to the contest.
