[Men's Wrestling] Wrestling returns to action with 28-24 dual win over William Penn University

OSKALOOSA, Iowa – The Raven Wrestling team returned to action for the first time in 2020 on Tuesday as they earned a 28-24 win over William Penn University.

Benedictine (3-3, 2-2 Heart) won two of the six contested matches during the dual as they earned wins by forfeit in three weight classes.

Michael Hummer and Jensen McDermott won their matches at 157 and 174 pounds respectively. Hummer won by fall while McDermott earned a 13-4 major decision.

Richard Jordan (165 pounds), Tyson Albright (184 pounds) and Oliver Severance (197 pounds) all picked up wins by forfeit as the Ravens were able to turn an 18-0 deficit into a 28-18 advantage as they scored points in five straight weight classes heading into the final match of the night at 285 pounds.

The Ravens are scheduled to return to action on Friday and Saturday as they take part in the annual Missouri Valley Invite in Marshall, Mo.
