Wrestlers battle at UNK open

In their last match before Thanksgiving, the Trojan wrestlers entered the University of Nebraska-Kearney Holiday Inn Open in Kearney, Neb., on Nov. 17.

The tournament field included more than 40 schools and 500 wrestlers containing some of the toughest competitors in the country from all divisions.

Colby was led by Pierro Garcia, who finished the day going 3-2 before losing in the placing round. The Trojan grapplers will be back in action Dec. 2 as they travel to Hays for the Bob Smith Open.
