| Some accomplishments of your team and wrestlers |
| We return 1 state placer, Sebastian Lopez at HWT. Finished 3rd as a freshman last year. He was also a double Cadet Fargo All-American this past summer. We return 1 former state placer, Ryan Heiman who finished 5th in 2020. On the girl’s side, we return 3 state placers. Alondra Guzman and Bethanie Cruz finished 5th last year, and Belle Hernandez finished as a State Runner-up. |
| General thoughts on your program and team |
| This year’s boys team will have a strong contingent of experienced Varsity wrestlers, and some young kids who will come in and challenge for some spots. We are looking forward to seeing how this year’s team can compete. Our girl’s team is a lot of experience, and continues to grow rapidly. Based on pre-season numbers it looks like we will have nearly 30 girls come out this year. We are hopeful that our girls team will continue the momentum that they displayed at the state tournament last year. |
