The tournament which featured many 6A and 5A schools could not get its scopes on the mythical bird to shoot it down from taking whatever prey it wanted.
Interesting was a fact that Shawnee Heights never won an individual championship title, even though four wrestlers made it to the finals but each had to settle for runner-up finishes.
The winning formula and key to their success with winning the team title race, came from having enough overall balance throughout its line-up to place ten wrestlers in the Top 4 of their respective weight classes.
