OTTAWA, Kan. – The Ottawa University men’s wrestling team is traveling to the KCAC Invitational on Saturday in Bartlesville, Okla.

Ottawa will look to secure the KCAC at the Invite. The Braves won the KCAC in 2019-20 after defeating Saint Mary in a 25-24 dual.

The Braves competed at the Ottawa Scramble on January 7th. The top performers were William Wright who went 1-0 at the scramble, while Gabriel McDuffie and Dalton Sikes went 1-1.

The NAIA released their third NAIA Top 20 Poll and Ottawa comes in at #14. The #14 ranking is the highest ranking in program history for Ottawa. NAIA also released Individual Rankings and six Brave Wrestlers are ranked in their individual weight divisions. Ryan Delforge moved up one spot to #10 in the 149lb weight division. Gabriel McDuffie also went up in the rankings to #11 in the 157lb weight class. Cameron Young-Leggett is ranked 18th in the 184lb weight division. Carson Savage moved up another spot to be ranked 9th in the 197lb weight class. Benito Hernandez and Dalton Sikes are ranked in the 285lb weight division. Hernandez is ranked 12th and Sikes is ranked 18th.
