LEAVENWORTH, Kan. – University of Saint Mary head wrestling coach Chuck Kearney announced the signing of Sidalie Jaramillo in advance of their 2021 women’s wrestling signing class. (Sidalie) Jaramillo is the sister of current Spire men’s wrestlers Riley and Avery Jaramillo.

Jaramillo is from Springfield, Ore. and attends Thurston High School. So far in her high school career, she has racked up a 44-16 record on the mat.

“Sidalie is no stranger to the University of Saint Mary with two brothers competing for the Spires in KCAC Champion and national qualifier Avery Jaramillo, along with Riley Jaramillo who was a NAIA National Finalist for the Saint Mary squad,” Kearney said.

“We are extremely excited about Sidalie’s decision to join us. She possesses all the traits we look for in our wrestlers: Talented, tough, disciplined, and most importantly, she has a real desire to compete at a high level.

“I believe that her best wrestling is still in front of her.
