The 12th-ranked Fort Hays State wrestling team will make the short trip to Wichita, Kan. Sunday (Jan. 17) to take on Emmanuel College as a part of the Jet Duals. Action is set to begin at 9 a.m. inside Fugate Gymnasium on the campus of Newman University.
Due to Sedgwick County, City of Wichita and Newman University policy, fan attendance will not be permitted at the Jet Duals. Live video will be available on The MIAA Network courtesy of Newman University.
This is the first-ever matchup between the Tigers and Lions. Emmanuel College, based out of Franklin Springs, Ga., is a member of Division II Conference Carolinas.
Both the Tigers and Lions are in search of their first win of the season. Fort Hays State is 0-3 in dual action so far this season, while Emmanuel entered Friday 0-5 on the year.
