Fisher picks up dual win against #2 Central Oklahoma

EDMOND, OK – Newman Wrestling competed in their second dual of the season, their first on the road, against the #2 ranked Central Oklahoma Bronchos. 

While the Bronchos showed their might and won every matchup, there were several early matches that were decided by just a few points. Dylan Sheler and Collin Creach came close to take down their opponents, but fell by just several points. 

Jace Fisher competed in his first official contest for the Jets in a dual, having won via forfeit in the previous dual with Cowley. 

Fisher coming off a sixth place finish at the Bob Smith Open last weekend, dominated his opposition winning by by technical fall by a score of 17-2. 

The team will head to yet another tournament next week, competing at the Midwest Classic in Indianapolis over a two day period.
