Panther Wrestling Falls to #13 Carl Albert & Southeast

Chanute, KS – The Neosho County Panthers wrestling team took on the #13 Carl Albert State Vikings on Thursday, December 7^th in Panther Gymnasium and fell to the Vikings 16- 34.

Teyton Burns (Fr. Bristow, OK) had a strong performance with a 14-4 major decision over Ryder Clark at 133 lbs.
Jonathan Perryman (Fr. Lebanon, MO) then made quick work of Kason Mitchell at 141 lbs., winning by fall in just 2:48.
As well as Dilen Barrington-Miller (Fr. Billings, MT) who also won by fall in 2:25 at 197 lbs.
 
Against Southeast, Hunter Jennings (Fr. Southern Boone, MO) wrestled tough and won a hard fought 2-1 decision over Evan McGhee at 157 lbs.
Dilen Barrington-Miller (Fr. Billings, MT) won again with a 7-4 decision over Tyler Stewart at 197 lbs.
The Panthers ended up losing the Storm 6-43.

The Panthers will be back on the mat Jan. 9^th in Pratt, KS as they take on Pratt Community College and Cloud County.
