Goodland, Kan. – Northwest Tech Men’s Wrestling hosted its last home event of the season, where they went 1-1 with a 39-16 win over the Cowley College Tigers while suffering a 18-24 loss to the #2-ranked Pratt Community College Beavers.
Northwest Tech came away with four Falls and one Decision in the Cowley dual, while getting four wins by Decision and one by Fall in the dual against Pratt.
“I was really proud of our team,” said Head Coach Chris Guillot. “They wrestled hard and came out and put on a great performance; we were right there with one of the best teams in the country. It was a fantastic dual, very entertaining, and great for the sport.”
Men’s Wrestling will return to competition on Saturday, February 10th, at the South Central District Championships in Great Bend, KS.
