40th Annual Jet Open registration begins

WICHITA – Registration for the 40^th Annual Jet Open has opened.  This year’s tournament will be held at Rolling Hills Country Club on Monday, August 5^th, 2024.  The Online Auction will continue as an avenue of support for golfers and non-golfers alike.

The 39^th Jet Open was no slouch. The tournament surpassed 41 teams for a third consecutive year, raising more funds than ever through sponsorship from those teams. Those looking to create or maintain their sponsorship should contact Billy Murphy.

The 40^th Annual Jet Open looks to continue its success in 2024 and will feature many of the same opportunities to get involved as the 2023 tournament offered with continued evolution. The entire event, which benefits the Newman University athletic department, will be held at Rolling Hills Country Club.

The Jet Open celebration begins with an online auction beginning on July 26^th and ending on Monday, August 5^th at 7 p.m. Participants won’t want to miss their chance to bid a selection of items to be announced this summer.

The golf tournament itself will take place, Monday, August 5^th, at Rolling Hills Country Club. Registration for the four-person scramble is slated to begin at 6:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. with a choice of a 7:30 a.m. or 12:30 p.m. shotgun start. Lunch will be served between 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. The entry fee will be $300 per person for this year’s event. That fee includes Monday’s tournament lunch, driving range balls, golf cart, as well as refreshments and snacks on the course. Participants will have a chance to win prizes on all par 3 holes, a longest drive and longest putt contest will also be featured. The games are here to stay with the continuation of some of the best on course competitions throughout the 18 holes.

Winners of the tournament, contests and games will be announced as we finish our day with the Post-Party at Hurricane Sports Grill located at 8641 West 13th Street in Wichita.

Sponsorship opportunities have been created for the 2024 Jet Open, including the traditional Gold ($5,000), Diamond ($3,000) and Silver Hole ($1,750) opportunities. A team of four golfers and sponsorship recognition is included in the cost of all sponsorship opportunities. The gold sponsorship allows for a company tent on the course as well as two teams for play on the 5^th of August.
